Not sure what the girl is doing in the background, her story is unclear. As for the violinist he's jammed on the left side, combining that with the highest contrast being around his face the focal point is unclear. The violin pointing out of the canvas leads the eye away from the image, to fix flip the character to where the violin faces inward. As for the photo bashing skills they are quite good. It's hard to tell what has been added. The flames are blown out, perhaps dimming the background lights will cause less competition in the scene. Is the character evil? With illustration the story cannot be ambiguous. It's art, but NOT "modern art"
